Life at Walter Peak High Country Farm is not bad for a hard working lass from Wales who is good with people, loves horses and riding, open space and the occasional dip into the high-life of Queenstown, 45 minutes across Lake Wakatipu on the Earnslaw Steamer.
I visited daughter Katie as spring turned to autumn on New Zealand’s South Island at the end of February 2010. I was even persuaded to take my first ever horse ride, thanks to Lloyd, who operates the riding stables at the Peak.
It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it….

Bydd eich ateb yn cael ei cymedroli, ac ni fydd yn ymaddangos yn syth. Medrwch paratoi eich tecst yn y rhaglen word cyn ei rhoi yn y bocs, ond ni fydd elfennau megis trwmder tecst a lliw yn ymddangos.
