When Dr Edith Price, president of SI Cwmbran, was on holiday in Peru this July she remembered a project started by another Wales South club SI Bridgend three years ago to help a women’s cooperative in Cusco.

Sarah Michael chosen as the winner of Soroptimist International Wales South 2002 Community Award, nominated by SI Bridgend.

21st June 2002 – Welsh Finals of the E-Commerce Awards
The UK Online E-Commerce Awards are designed to encourage small businesses to use IT facilities to improve their communications expertise and this year included a category for Voluntary organisations. The competition is sponsored by the Welsh Assembly, the Welsh Development Agency, the Wales Information Society and BT.
