SI Carmarthen's Fundraising 'Cruise Night'

SI Carmarthen's President Sue John began her year in office with an exciting fundraising charity 'Cruise Night'. Soroptimists from as far afield as Lampeter and Port Talbot joined the Carmarthen club and guests on the MS Savannah, beautifully decorated by Zoe and her crew, reflecting different ports of call including Mexico, New York and France! Regional President Pat Rodway was there to join in the fun.

Captain for the evening was Ray Gravell. Guests were able to have their photograph taken with him as they boarded ship. Lively entertainment was provided by 'Casual Affair' and the 'Evolution' dancers. A casino was available for those wishing to have a flutter on the gaming tables with an auction at the end of the evening for winners to spend their vast fortunes! (Paper money, of course).

Members of SI Carmarthen prepared an attractive feast to add to the evening's enjoyment.

Approximately £1000 was raised in aid of charity and SI Carmarthen would like to thank everyone who supported the evening and made it such a success.
