President's Profile and Details of Officers

Anne has been a Soroptimist for nineteen years, originally joining SI Tunbridge Wells prior to transferring to SI Cardiff and District when her professional work brought her to Wales.

She has been club Programme Action Officer for SI Cardiff and was club President from 1993 -1994.

For the last three years Anne has represented Wales South Region on the UK PAC and has represented Wales at the Federation Programme Action meeting at the annual SIGBI Conferences. In 2006 she coordinated the UKPAC Study Day held at UWIC, Cardiff.

Since retiring from the Headship of Woodlands High School in 2004, Anne has retained her interest in Special Education, currently undertaking part time lecturing at UWIC in addition to being a Governor of two High Schools in Cardiff.

She is a Trustee of Opportunity Housing and ABCD (Access for Black and Minority Ethnic children and young people with disability or chronic disabling illness)an advocacy and support service for families in Wales.

Anne's hobbies include travelling, reading, art and stained glass making. She has three children, five grandchildren and lives in St Fagans.
